Important know-how

  • The ideal time for newborn photo-shoot is between the 5th – 12th day after your baby was born, because at this time they can sleep deeply, peacefully. It is very important to take the photos within 14 days after your baby was born, because I can only take photos with well sleeping babies. Otherwise I cannot provide you with the expected photos.

Between 14-21 days you can only take photos of babies who are sleeping very well and do not suffer from tummy ache.

In case of premature born babies it differs naturally. In that case the pictures should be taken within one week after you got home from the hospital with your child.

  • I will only set your baby in poses which are absolutely comfortable for her/him.
  • I do not prefer to go to studios when having a newborn photo-shoot, because studios are not clean enough for babies.

Therefore I used to held these photo shootings at my own studio, which is big enough and all the tools and props can fit here well.

I can also do the photo shooting at your home, but it costs more in this case and I can provide much less tools and props than at my place. ( 50% extra fee)

  • The photo shooting can take 3-6 hours, depending on the baby.
  • Booking
    1. I kindly ask you to please drop me an SMS or an e-mail as soon as your baby was born (and you are capable) and let’s discuss the most suitable appointment for you and the details.
    2. Then you need to transfer me the deposit (35 000 HUF). It’s a guarantee that I can count on you to appear at the shooting and we are not wasting each other’s time, neither someone else’s. I hope it’s understandable.  Naturally the deposit counts in the total fee.
    3. Your booking is valid if the first two steps are done.
  • Cancellation
    • You may cancel your photo-shooting minimum 2 days before the agreed date. (no pay back )
    • Please let me know in case you are not able to make it to the photo shoot as soon as possible.
  • Preparation for the photo shooting, suggestions
    • We are going to discuss in advance which colour and style is your favourite. According to this I will prepare the props, dresses, wraps, decoration, etc.  The accessories are not limited, neither the time for the photo shooting.
    • As a newborn’s immune system is very fragile, I pay special attention on keeping my accessories clean and to stay healthy. In case I would not feel well  I will let you know immediately and we are going to change the date accordignly.
    • It is extremely important to prepare yourself for the photoshoot with breastmilk or formula. A fulfilled tummy is the key to have calm, peaceful and sleeping baby.

    You can only get calmness with a full tummy, therefore I kindly ask you to please be prepared that your baby will eat often during the photoshoot, because we will move her/him (in various poses). It would be great if the baby could eat at my place right before the photoshoot, in case this is feasible (but of course please do not destroy the baby’s little daily routine for this).

    • You may prepare with some tools, toys, fresh flowers, accessories, dresses related to the job or hobbies of the family.
    • White shirt/T-shirt/top and jeans can be useful at family pictures. It’s not even a problem if the top is small at your belly, we are shooting the pics from the breast level.
  • After the photoshoot

    I’m going to send you the password-protected link to the selected, retouched photos within 3 weeks. From those photos you can select which ones you would like to get as part of the package. The photos at this link cannot be seen by anyone else than you, you cannot download them and as soon as you are done with the selection I will remove them from the internet. Then you are going to receive the selected photos from me digitally.

    To keep the quality of my photos I do not provide the raw photos to anyone under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.
